The First Electric Ferrari
Uncompromising performance, engagement and spaciousness. 100% Ferrari.
In Italian, Luce means light — a symbol of clarity, direction, and illumination toward the future. It marks a new chapter where design, engineering, and imagination converge into something that did not exist before.
A visionary approach to innovation: uncompromising, pure, and radiant. The Ferrari Luce does not merely replace an engine with batteries — it completely reimagines what a Ferrari can be.
Designed with Sir Jony Ive and Marc Newson at the creative collective LoveFrom, a singular design language unites the exterior, interior, and interface with clarity and refined simplicity throughout.
"Interior forms are simplified and rationalised in service of the driving experience. The cabin is a celebration of hundreds of discrete products, each meticulously considered and treated with individual care." — Ferrari Design Studio & LoveFrom
The defining visual element is the "glass house" — the cabin appears as a pure shell-like form extending below the beltline. Transparent front and rear light panels visually disappear when switched off, preserving the purity of the surfaces.
Rather than creating artificial synthesized noises, Ferrari developed a patented system that amplifies real vibrations generated by the electric drivetrain. A precision accelerometer captures rotational vibrations, gear interaction, and mechanical harmonics — then amplifies them in real time.
The result is a soundscape that is authentic, functional, and deeply emotional. Sound activates to inform torque shifting in Manual and Performance modes, enabling the driver to build progression via paddles.
The Ferrari Luce represents more than a new model. It signals how legacy performance brands approach electrification without abandoning emotional identity.
